The Bagsmart Camera Backpack is a 20l camera bag. A bag is one of the key pieces of photographic equipment, probably only being trumped by a tripod, lenses and the camera itself. The bag provides not only a convenient means of carrying the rest of your photographic equipment, but it is essential in protecting that equipment.
There are five storage sections in this bag. The main section is for camera equipment accessed from the zip on the front of the bag. A section for general use is accessed from the top, closed by a cinch closure and under a top flap. A dedicated zipped pocket to the rear of the bag takes a laptop up to 15″. There are also two side pockets, one with a cinch strap – so one side can take a tripod and the other a drinks bottle.
The Bagsmart Camera Backpack Main Section

There are two points of access to the main section. The first, noted above, is the zipped section on the lower half of the front of the bag. The second is the zipped side panel. There is room for a DSLR and a couple of lenses, there are also some pockets for memory cards, batteries and cables.
The lower section is empty. The provided padded dividers create sections to fit your gear. The side access can provide quick access to the camera when the camera is stored to the left.
Other Sections
The top cinched section is simply a space to place a jumper, picnic or other items. It includes is a zippered pocket to secure small items like keys. A zipped and padded 15″ laptop pocket is available. A reasonably sized travel tripod fits into the dedicated tripod pocket . The drinks bottle pocket takes a 750ml water bottle with ease.

Features of the Bagsmart Camera Backpack
The material is a water-resistant canvass. A rain cover is also provided to improve the weather resistance of the bag. The straps are well-padded and sufficiently adjustable that the bag is comfortable for people of various heights. There is also a small clip that can clip all four zips accessible on the front and side of the bag. This makes it harder to remove items from the bag without the owner noticing.
Conclusion
This bag is just right for a day trip: a family day out, a trip to the city, attending a carnival – that sort of thing. You can take enough equipment to allow you to take decent photographs, but not the additional equipment that you would need for a full-on photographic shoot. No room for very long lenses, big filter sets or drones. This is for light photography and a packed lunch.
I use this bag frequently, pretty much for the type of events that are in the paragraph above. It can’t take my larger tripods, only small travel tripods, but that’s fine. The bag doesn’t look line a camera bag unless you stick a tripod on the side. So it doesn’t particularly attract attention. In a city, that’s great.
This bag doesn’t hugely stand out from others at a similar price point, but it does the job and works for me.
