The story of the lost sheep occurs in Luke 15:1-7
This isn’t an exposition on that short parable, but a rationale for this blog. This is part blog and part diary, a set of reflections from a Christian perspective on my journey through life. A bunch of thoughts as I travel.
Am I an expert, or do I have ambitions to be an expert? No. I am a lost sheep, wandering off and brought back to the fold by a loving shepherd. I hope these reflections are useful or, at least, thought-provoking. They mean no more than that.
I have a varied background and have had the opportunity to do and experience lots of things – but so have you, so we have that in common.
I have been a Christian since my mid-teens, with most of that spent as an Anglican. I have experienced the evangelical end of that communion, and have spent some time as an Anglo-Catholic. Now, I am a Methodist and worshipping in my local Methodist church.
My professional background is as a scientist and a manager in hospitals and other healthcare organisations. I have been lucky enough to get lots of education and I get to speak to lots of people in business, in public service, in churches and of many other backgrounds.
I hope my musings are of some relevance – See you on the inside.
